Photo: The Roberts-Banner Building, at 215 N. Mesa St., in Downtown El Paso, is slated to become a 64-room, upscale boutique hotel.

Another historic Downtown building is slated to be turned into a hotel. Grupo CC, a Chihuahua City hotel development company, which last month bought the 108-year-old Roberts-Banner Building, plans to renovate it into a 64-room, upscale boutique hotel with meeting space, restaurants, and a rooftop bar, said Diego Cuesta Creel, partner and chief executive officer of the family-owned company.
