Warren, Ohio — The last time California actor Fred Blanco was in Ohio, he said he remembered the many fireflies that come out at night, something not seen on the West Coast. Blanco, of Los Angeles, will return to Ohio later this month as part of Ohio Chautauqua 2019, during which he will portray Latino-American civil rights activist Cesar Chavez, an American labor leader and civil rights activist who, with Dolores Huerta, co-founded the National Farm Workers Association, later the United Farm Workers union, in 1962.
