The festival is moving from Long Beach to the grounds of the Pico Rivera Sports Arena in November.  The Pomona City Council earlier this week approved a request to host the festival at the Fairplex after the city of Pico Rivera told promoter Goldenvoice that the Pico Rivera Sports Arena could no longer host the event. However, the agreement with the Fairplex almost didn’t happen. That’s hardly our only festival news of the week — Stagecoach Country Music Festival tickets went on sale (and sent some people scrambling), San Pedro went country for the inaugural Subaru Country Freedom Festival and there’s a new, free festival coming to Los Angeles next month.
