Every year, Hispanic cultures around the world celebrate El Día de los Muertos, and since 2009, the Museum of Texas Tech University has been a part of that celebration.  On Sunday, Oct. 21, the museum hosted El Día de los Muertos from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The celebration, which translates to The Day of the Dead in English, included different arts and crafts stations, the Texas Tech Mariachi band, free food, a community ofrenda and a display about the origin of the holiday.
