A year after the Museum of Ventura County hosted its first Chicano art exhibit, community members and artists gathered to celebrate the release of a catalog commemorating the historic show. The “Ayer y Todavia” art catalog documents the exhibit of the same name, which in fall 2017 brought together dozens of works by local and regional Mexican-American artists, including pioneering Chicano creatives Carlos Almaraz and Frank Romero.
