There was no shortage of tamales or tradition during the Tamale Extravaganza-Posada de Tamales at Super 1 Foods on Saturday. The Gentry Parkway location in Tyler hosted the family-friendly event that started at 11 a.m. and included a Tamale Competition, Tamale Eating Competition, Posada, gift card raffle and a mariachi performance.
