Colleges have something to learn from Cal State Fullerton, according to a report released in December by the Education Trust. The study compares four pairs of colleges that have similar makeup of students but large gaps in graduation rates for Latino students. Cal State Fullerton was compared with the University of Texas at San Antonio. The schools have similar median SAT scores, undergraduate enrollment, and percentages of low-income and Latino students, and are both moderately selective.
