The lack of Hispanic representation and opportunities in Hollywood – on and off camera – has long been criticized by many advocacy groups, such as the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts, the National Hispanic Media Coalition and NALIP, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers. The Areu studios could change that.
