San Antonio, Texas – If everything goes as planned, a beloved mural recklessly painted over and feared forever lost will be resurrected by technology and the advocacy of a West Side resident who stepped forward to champion it. The destroyed mural of the late Congressman Henry B. González, one of three that once graced the concrete walls of Estela’s Restaurant on West Martin, could land a meaningful spot at the Convention Center that bears his name.
