From a prolific acting career in Hollywood to owning taco restaurants and doughnut shops, Danny Trejo is now dipping his toes in the music industry by unveiling his own record label called Trejo’s Music, Billboard can exclusively reveal. The Mexican-American actor has partnered with Silent Giant Entertainment president and producer, Edward “E-Dub” Rios, and artist and BashTown Music CEO, Baby Bash to give life to his first album dubbed Danny Trejo Presents Chicano Soul Shop Vol. 1. The record features music from established artists such as Frankie J, Baby Bash and Chiquis Rivera to emerging artists such as Tara New and Trish Toledo.
