For the first time, this year’s Lowrider Day featured three days of events. Española Lowrider Association President Joan Medina said attendance to the newly-added Friday and Sunday events was lackluster, but the crowd for Saturday’s parade, hop exhibition, live entertainment and art show held strong. Six cars participated in the hop contest, each manned by a team and operated from outside the vehicle.
