Photo: Management officials with Pasadena’s Macroplaza Mall are preparing to present a master plan to city of Pasadena, California, officials as the next step toward renovations into what they envision as a Hispanic-flavored regional shopping destination with hundreds of small businesses.

Expected to bring in at least 200 additional vendors to the mall, the project is still in the planning phase, according to the mall’s general manager, Julio Penaranda. Work on the interior began in the spring and features new lighting, paint and decorative items.
