In honor of this observance, the Hispanic Heritage Committee of Greater Orange County hosts several cultural events in collaboration with Orange County Government and Orange County Parks and Recreation. This year, festivities kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 10 with a reception featuring musical performances, dances and samples of Hispanic cuisine. This outdoor reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Cypress Grove Estate House, located at 290 Holden Ave. in Orlando.
