The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center will open a new exhibition honoring fallen Latino heroes. The “Honoring Our Fallen Latino Comrades Altar Exhibition” will have an opening reception. Altars at the exhibit were created to honor Latino fallen service members or veterans who have deceased, MIA, KIA or POW. The exhibit is in collaboration with the Austin Veterans Arts Festival.
