Photo: Notable Chicanas are honored in a tapestry that features their photos, unveiled during a celebration at El Pueblo History Museum.
The group of Notable Chicanas was honored at El Pueblo History Museum includes artists, educators, dancers, activists and politicians. Over 30 women from Southern Colorado were honored as part of the El Pueblo History Museum’s “Year of La Chicana” tapestry.
