With its mix of cultures and creators, L.A. has inspired an endless stream of movies, music, and fine art devoted to its appeal, so it makes sense that its designers look close to home when crafting their collections. For Pre-Fall Trina Turk tapped into the energy of “Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA,” an expansive collaborative exhibition led by the Getty that focuses on the Latino contribution to Los Angeles’s distinctive architecture and contemporary art scene.
