Los TexManiacs’ latest Grammy nomination has little to do with being flashy Tex-Mex genre-bending musicians — or maniacs. “Cruzando Borders,” nominated for best regional Mexican music album (including Tejano) at the 61st annual Grammy Awards, which are being handed out today, is as traditional as a backyard carne asada in the band’s San Antonio, Texas, hometown.
