The little brick building at the corner of Sprague Street and Thomasville Road has been a restaurant for many years, for the most part specializing in such All-American and Southern classics as burgers, grits and eggs.But the Winston-Salem, North Carolina, establishment underwent a change about a year ago. And now a multicultural ownership has led to a multicultural staff, multicultural menu and multicultural customer base — a reflection of the modern makeup of the Southside community that surrounds it.
