Chicano Batman? Certainly. Chicano Robin? Probably not. Chicano Superman, Chicano Spiderman or Chicano Dr. Strange? Not at this time. The most famous Latino superheroes/rock ‘n’ roller, channeling perhaps the Cisco Kid and Ritchie Valens or Zorro and Los Lobos, Chicano Batman will make its local debut Friday night at the venerable Ventura Theatre.
